The DuraLabel PRO 300 prints polyolefin shrink tubes for labeling wires.
Shrink tubes are slipped over the end of a wire and then heat shrunk to a tight fit. As shown to the left, they can even be shrunk over the connector on the end of a wire.
Shrink tubes provide a permanent label on the wire. Once shrunk onto the wire they will not come off unless cut.
DuraLabel PRO Shrink Tube will print flat because the tube needs to be slipped over the end of the wire, shrink tubes can not be applied after a wire has been terminated.
Shink tube material is supplied flat on 25 foot rolls. When flat the shrink tube will be approximated 1.5 times as wide as its open diameter. It is printed flat and then opened up to slip it onto the wire, as shown in the photo to the left.
Once the shrink tube label is in place, a heat gun is used to shrink the label to a tight fit on the wire, as shown in the photo to the left.
