Four Label Styles-Two Languages: Arc flash labels are required by NEC and NFPA, but the design and content of those labels has not been specified. The DLP300 printer has the supplies and capability to print arc flash labels in four styles and in two different languages. You can't go wrong when you select the DuraLabel Pro 300 to help you meet arc flash labeling requirements.
The four styles of arc flash labels are shown below. There are two styles of die cut labels and two types that use continuous vinyl.
Die-Cut Arc Flash Labels
Die-cut labels are available with a pre-printed header with either the word "DANGER" or the word "WARNING" printed in bold at the top of the label. The body of the label has four boxes for organizing the information printed on the label.
The above labels are also available with the headers printed in English or Spanish. All arc flash die-cut labels are 4" x 6" in size.
Die-cut labels can be printed using the Flash Label database software included with the DuraLabel Pro 300 . They may also be printed using custom formats you can create using Microsoft Word or Excel.
Die-cut labels have a number of advantages:
Two-color continuous vinyl allows you to create fully customized arc flash labels. You can establish a standard for your facility, and include just the information specifically needed on your arc flash labels. The two-color vinyl produces a highly visible header that communicates a hazard exists, while the information on the body of the label is easy to read.
A Microsoft Word template included with the DuraLabel PRO 300, helps you get your label design set up and ready to be print quickly.
Two color continuous vinyl is 4" in height and available with color headers of various widths. Labels may be printed in custom widths.
Continuous vinyl is also available with a red stripe. You may include the appropriate signal word (for example WARNING), pictograms, logos and any additional text you'd like in the header. You have complete control of the design on the label.
Single color vinyl provides the greatest flexibility for making arc flash labels. Text and graphics can be printed in the arrangement you prefer on the label.
Mutiple stripes of vinyl can be combined to make large format signs. Making a 22" x 36" warning sign is not a problem for the DuraLabel PRO 300.
